Leader: Put your hope in the God of Jacob
Children: God can help! God can bless your socks off!
Leader: God is the Maker of heaven and earth
All: God is faithful and loves those who try to do right
Leader: The Lord defends the oppressed and feeds the hungry
Children: He makes the blind see! He sets trapped people free!
Leader: The Lord watches out for widows and orphans and outsiders,
All: The Lord reigns for all time. Praise the Lord!
